Hey guys I had an annoying issue with XBMC for a while now and havent been able to find anything that can fix it.

When I fire up XBMC it simply does not load any menu's at all, it has the bar across the bottom (I'm using the Aeon Nox skin) with the date and time but everything else is blank.

The only way I have found a way around it is by plugging in a keyboard and pressing the 'e' key which then displays the message 'No PVR clients have started yet..... etc' and then all the menu's appear.

Has anyone had this same issue?

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

Enable debug logging in XBMC; exit XBMC; restart XBMC and wait a minute for it to complete loading; if menu options don't display, then press "e" as you normally do to get the menu to display. Look in your debug log (wiki) to see what the problem may be.

BTW, does the same problem occur if you switch to the default Confluence skin?

I am getting sort of the same problem. Open up kodi and it shows nothing. No menu, other than a help notification. Which when clicked leads to nothing. I've tried all the force stopping and clear cache things but nothing seems to work. Help?!
