Subtitle-downloads are no longer working since they've split-up the subtitle addons in gotham. Could you implement it? It's currently working in standard confluence...

Hi, It is working fine in my side. I'm using recently nightly build and Git version of Amber. Then I reinstalled OpenSubtitles add-on and set it as default service in subtitles settings section of XBMC.
Sorry for my English.

@pecinko

Could you by chance add a shelf for In Progress TV shows that may not be the most recent ones?

Also could there by a chance to give a quick 5 day forecast in the weather menu instead of having to click into the menu?

1. In progress tv shows are on recommended shelf. Shelf is showing what skin.widgets add-on is giving.
2. I can add it if someone else code it up. I don't use weather in XBMC at all.

Here is other problem:
Some add-ons settings dialogue cannot display their contents properly. Actually I'm not sure it is add-ons' problem or Gotham compatibility issue but they are OK in Confluence. If problems are on add-ons' side I will report them to each add-on's developer.

Add-ons I found so far which has same problem:
Universal Movie Scraper, Advanced Wake On Lan, Extendedinfo Script, Artwork Downloader,

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I tested v1.5.6 and add-on settings window shows perfectly now!
Thank you for update, always.

love this skin on my rPi but don't see any tv show art on the tv show home shelf. These work fine on other skins like confluence and quartz. Movies work fine.
I am using v1.5.6 on openelec nightlies. Any thoughts on where I should look to solve this?

Thanks.

Amber 1.5.7 for Frodo on GitHub (Gotham version not available yet)

- lots of visual improvements
- fan art view from Quartz Reloaded
- you can use "I" or directly start playback in gallery view
- gallery is also available in Fanart view with Info
- increased size of some fonts
- non caps fonts added (default + arial)
- some speed improvements

Happy New Year! Smile

Hi,

a small (I hope) feature request (which is why I didn't post it in a new thread).

When selecting a menu item on the home screen, there is no indication if XBMC actually registered the click and is working (this sometimes causes people to press select more than one, starting the selected movie in the list).

In Confluence, the screen "blanks" leaving only the background while it's working. I seem to remember Amber doing something similar in the past. Anyway, I've been forced to use Confluence because of this issue, even if Amber is a lot nicer to look at.

tia,
Allan

If navigation sounds are turned on, yes (they are normally not). And if the keypress if registered of course.

If the sounds are off you still see a "loading" pop-up, don't ya?

Not on the home screen, no - Nothing happens until it's done fetching data from the database and loads the selected view (current versions are 13.0-ALPHA11 Git:20131208-c530e0d and Amber from git)

Code:
23:07:14 T:2944554048   DEBUG: PushCecKeypress - received key  b duration 0
23:07:14 T:3040784384   DEBUG: OnKey: 11 (0x0b) pressed, action is Select
23:07:14 T:3040784384   DEBUG: ExecuteXBMCAction : Translating action string
23:07:14 T:3040784384   DEBUG: Activating window ID: 10025
23:07:14 T:3040784384   DEBUG: ------ Window Deinit (Home.xml) ------
23:07:14 T:3040784384   DEBUG: ------ Window Init (MyVideoNav.xml) ------
23:07:14 T:3040784384    INFO: Loading skin file: MyVideoNav.xml, load type: KEEP_IN_MEMORY
23:07:17 T:3040784384   DEBUG: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory (videodb://movies/titles/)
23:07:17 T:3040784384   DEBUG:   ParentPath = [videodb://movies/titles/]
23:07:17 T:3040784384   DEBUG: Loading items: 387, directory: videodb://movies/titles/ sort method: 0, ascending: true

In this case, around three seconds where nothing happened on screen - This leads to problems because the users may think XBMC didn't register the keypress and tries again.

I cannot get the TV Shows section to display an of my files from my NFS. Here is my log file:

http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=107860

Movies worked great. I have just upgraded from v12.2 to v13 and I am using the Gotham skin. Not sure if this is an XBMC problem or not.

There must have been a problem on my end or something because after many attempts everything is now updated correctly.
