I just made a new htpc. Haswell i3 and I am using the current version xbmc. When I install it and set the resolution to 1920x1080 the mouse will not reach to the bottom or the right side of the screen. I have to lower the resolution down to get it to work. When I select fullscreen rather than true full screen the picture is too big. Mouse works fine in regular windows 8.1 desktop etc.

I had this issue as well.

To fix it I took it out of full screen mode, then moved the window so it was completely in the screen, then put it back to full screen mode.

For some reason my roommate really likes to maximize it instead of using full screen, even though it's set to full screen windowed mode. When it's done that way, if the window isn't completely on the screen, when you go to full screen mode you can only access the areas of the 'window' that were on the screen when it was in windowed mode.
