Hi, I recently rebuilt my XBMC to remove Win 7 & convert it to XBMCbuntu (12.2 Frodo). For some reason, now that I have added a single music source & imported it, i am seeing numerous duplicates of a lot (but not all songs)
If i go into an album (Now 86 for example) I see 4 entries for track 9.
I opened a copy of the music DB in SQL lite browser & it shows 15338 entries in the song table - the same files/folders are also in my itunes library on a different PC - it shows 7221 songs!
If i find that particular track in the songs table, i find 4 entries for the same MP3 file, all with the same track/path data.
Why am i getting so many duplicates, this is very frustrating
