I have a stable XBMC Mediaportal machine which today began displaying a message every 30 seconds stating I need to upgrade my Media Portal TV Server and the version is too old.
I do not intend to upgrade - I'm waiting for some issues to be resolved with a different tv back end and will dump media portal when that happens. Right now, I just want to disable this very irritating message so the non-techies in the house can watch TV or movies without the pop-up.
Please tell me there is some way to stop this message.
