I never use a remote control to browse through XBMC. I only use the Android app where I can browse my movies and tv-series on my tablet.

Is there a skin that only show information on the home screen, and no menu? I would like to see latest added movies and tv-serie episodes (maybe RSS-feed from a site).

I suppose there is not... How difficult would it be to do this myself? Any good tips or a skin that I might start modding to meet my requests?

Edit: I might add that I only use XBMC for movies and tv-series, so I do not need anything else.
