Hi
I was wondering if somebody could help me out, please.
I've switched from win7 to mint 15 recently and I want to know if there is any way to have xbmc used in Mint in a portable mode
if windows like portable mode is also possible(I had a separate fodler containing xbmc and database all in one place, and I ran it via a shorcut) I would love to hear how it can be done. =)
For instance, can (and how?) I move database/install folder to a usb stick and then run xbmc with "-p" attribute? Will It then keep all settings and database on this usb stick?
I installed xbmc but when I try to run it in -p mode I get this
xbmc -p
Could not init logging classes. Permission errors on ~/.xbmc (/usr/share/xbmc/portable_data/temp/)
ERROR: Unable to create application. Exiting
