Hello all,
I've recently installed the XBMC Linux software, however I am unable to get the hz about 30.
Does anyone know how I can do this? thank you

I think your TV just does not do 1080p60 - switch to 720p and you are fine.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Or you're running XBMC on top of Unity, in which case refresh rate switching just doesn't work.
