#1
Hi Sorry but I am a noob and need lots of help. Firstly I got a message on my MX2 box stating that xmbc is no more and I should see the tvaddons page for upgrade I have read lots of stuff but it its all alien to me. From system Info I can see that my operating system is Linux 3.0.101-MX #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 18 03. What I want to know Is how I upgrade to Kodi from XMBC and is kodi more stable and does it work better with (ie Genisis)

You're talking about third party apps which they don't deal with here.
You are best to goto the GBox MX2 site and get the latest image there.

no not at all, but it's easier to just through a new image on add what repo you want and go from there.
They will not deal with questions regarding tvaddons and any third party addon that may not be quite legal.

It's posted in the rules. I'm just sayin'....

On that box , as I said earlier, it's easier to just add the latest image. perhaps Ember would be good for you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...?t=2418029
I have used this and it works pretty well. That's if you want to stick with linux build. I prefer linux to android on these boxes.
