For "The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse" thetvdb.com shows multiple episodes combined as shown here:
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=78251&lid=7

However, my episodes are split and named as described here.

showname s01e01a.ext
showname s01e01b.ext

As show here Ember doesn't handle the naming correctly and ignores the first part "a" of every episode.


Am I doing something wrong and if so please advise on how best to get the correct results.

Did you had in settings/video/file list/combine split video items on?

Not supported atm in Ember. I believe a request is already existing...

So have I named them correctly as shown here for XBMC to identify? If so, then I can manually fix all the "a" parts.

Looks correct. I've never tested.

Hi ! i am using XBMC 12.3 and do not see such parameter.
Is that related to an older version ? or is that parameter in another place ?

has anybody succeedded in getting split tv show well detected by XBMC ?
i am struggling with that and cannot get it working ! :-(

having a look at the advancedsettings.xml file, i feel like this should not work out of the box...

Are you aware that you are posting in Ember section?
If you can't get XBMC to handle split shows that's not Embers problem

If it's something else related to Ember, please describe the problem better
