Linux w_scan, signal ok but no channels

Hi, I've been trying to get local channels working in XBMCuntu. I have followed the instructions on the XBMX vdr wiki. The Scan Command was giving me issues so I used w_scan. A strange thing is happening however. WHen it scans the channels. It act's like it sees the freq, but when its done says found (0) services. I'm using an ATI HD tunner card. had it working before on a lubuntu install.
Any Ideas?

Got It Working. Turns out I didn't have my drivers and firmware fully installed, like I thought.

For Ubuntu
ATI HD Wonder

wget http://pyther.net/files/firmware/nxt2004...nxt2004.fw # gets Firmware
cp dvb-fe-nxt2004.fw /lib/firmware # copies Firmware to appropriate directory
reload appropriate module or reboot
dmesg #to confirm firmware was loaded
