[RELEASE] FlyinHD Video AddOn - Hindi/Tamil/Telugu Movies
#1
Hey Folks..

Checkout my new plugin FlyinHD if you are interested in watching the latest Hindi/Telugu/Tamil movies in HIGH QUALITY. The plugin is quite similar to the Einthusan plugin but flyinhd get the latest releases that are sometimes missing in einthusan.

The plugin offers movies categorized by year/actor/director and several other ways. The best way to install the plugin is add my Code 'n X Addon.

You can install the plugin from superrepo:
http://superrepo.org/plugin.video.flyinhd

The plugin is available by installing from this zip file:
http://github.com/codenx/codenx-xbmc-add...-2.0.6.zip

Just download and save it locally, goto the Add On menu and choose install from zip. This will add the codenx repo to your list of repos. Then navigate to this repo and select FlyInHD and install it. (Settings -> Add-ons -> Install from zip file)

I've made a request to add this plugin to superrepo but that is not up yet. I"ll update the thread once that is ready.

The codenx repo has another plugin OliyumOliyum which I wrote primarily to add Tamil TV Shows/Serials, Movie news, gossips and interviews, in case you are interested in checking it out.

Please lemme know if you have feedback. Cheers!

@knxmbc, fwd/skip works great for me. Can you give me more details? What platform are you running xbmc on, windows/mac/linux? What version of xbmc are you using? Frodo? What happens when you hit fwd, does it stop playback or just does not fwd?

@wqwert, thanks for the feedback.

Hi Everyone.. I have another version update in the pipeline. The folks in flyinhd pinged me and they want all users of this plugin to create an account in their website and login using that when accessing flyinhd. They are worried about security (that someone can steal the stream URL) and they are worried about losing site visits. I tried explaining at length that these are not really a problem, because the plugin uses HTTP in the backend to access the website. So they dont lose anything when you access flyinhd through xbmc vs when you access through the browser.

But they are not convinced. I'm not left with any option but to enforce an authentication starting from the next update. You will have to login only once, i plan to store the password in sqllite. Please raise your concern here if you have any. Stay tuned for more information...

its not a big deal, go ahead and do it, let every-one register @ their site and get a username and password.

I've pushed version 0.0.3, you have to login to access the plugin. Please create an account in www.flyinhd.com. But beware, they use plain text HTTP authentication, not HTTPS. So dont reuse any of your passwords!

thanks for the nice addon. I find it taking long time (90 secs or so) to move from tamil menu to recent in raspBMC. I tried now in windows laptop, it was quick(2 secs),

Do you know why it could be slow on raspberry?
