Just spent a full day trying to figure why my ATV2 crashes after power down. Just finish a seasonpass jailbreak and a firecore black flash. All is ok until I power down to bring the atv2 to another room. The device boots with the apple logo then a black screen. A slow flash led on the front of the atv2

Sounds like you have a tethered jailbreak, which requires a computer to boot the ATV2 every time it is powered down. This is why everyone gets excited when an untethered jailbreak comes out, because it makes it easier.

Thanks Ned.....I tried about 10 or 12 combinations to try and save the boot. I just didn't think I was doing the jailbreak right. It would be nice to see a battery backup like they have in alot of bedside alarm clocks. I like to give you a 100 Reputation points but I don't know how to do that (dumb old man here) THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS !!!!!!!
