[SOLVED] Video info screen with trailers ?
#1
Hello

This might be a novice question but I'll give it a try....

Is it possible to get an infoscreen of the movies I have in my library with also a movie trailer windows, like from youtube or so ?
Something that collects trailers automaticly and also actors, directors and other movie info ?

I dont know if this eventuially is a part of the skin or XMBC itself.

I just checked the setting and I have youtube trailers enabled but still there are no trailers downloaded.
I am using the transparency skin.

I am also using nfo files for all my movies even though the moviedb scraper is enabled.
I am not sure if the trailers are downloaded when nfo files are used ?

I don't think YouTube trailers are downloaded to your local disk ?

They are streamed on demand from YouTube ?

I don't use the YouTube trailers option. I set it to download the trailers if possible. You set that when you add your media source and set the type to "Movies". In there you can tell it where it should fetch trailers from.

I think you have to refresh the videos to get the option, since it is set in the scraper settings: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Vid...he_library

Yes but it was set already and since I very seldom enter those settings I assume it has been there "forever" ....but still I dont see any trailer buttons or windows.
Were do they show up ?
Maybe I haven't looked for it at the right place.

Since I am using nfo files which I edit manually using EMM instead of the moviedb scraper will that prevent me from using movie trailer on the info screen ?

Seems that I have managed to get it work now.
I needed to download manually via EMM and update the nfo file.
When I did not download the trailer I still got the trailer option on my menu screen but it did not play the trailer.
