MediaBrowser3 & ServerWMC preview
#1
We have been working with the mediabrowser3 team to bring liveTV - using wmc - to mediabrowser3 client apps. Below are screenshots of the web browser client.

We have a lot of it working, including:
channels page, recordings page, 'scheduled' list (equivalent to xbmc timer view), and a page for managing and viewing series recordings (it's so nice having this). Also live-tv & recorded-tv playback is working. Its important to note that this will be able to run along side xbmc clients.

It also has the benefit that playback can be transcoded (see image) for slower network connections.

There are still features to add (for instance there is no multi-channel guide page) and there are some minor stability issues, but its looking really good. If you have questions, post them here.

This is great news. I had a feeling this was coming. I have already setup serverwmc and mediabrowser server in hope this would happen. It completes the request I had in the MB forums to add Colossus support for live TV. Thanks guys for all your work on this!

I would also be up for some testing as I have taken my system off-line for a rebuild/tweeking and the family is not using it now. Just let me know how I can help.

A first cut of the guide is done, here is what it looks like with data from serverwmc:

Cannot wait to have live tv in mb theater

but why is this in an xbmc forum?

Hmm, guess I didn't think about it. I think of the clients that mb3 will allow for as complementing what xbmc does. Also, I have seen other threads on this forum about using mb3 with xbmc, I thought of this as more of the same. Perhaps you are right that this doesn't belong here.
