Question
Hi All

Maybe you can help me , i need larger ont in order to be able to read the menues and movie info.
I use the Confluence skin and there I noticed there is an option to choose large font which is great ,
But my local font are not visibale when I choose it or any other option except Arial Based , which is a little bit smaller than the normal/default option,

How can I get the "Arial Based" option to have the same size settings as the "Large Font" settings ,
Or have the "Large Font" support my font unicode ?
Or create/add a seperate option with Large Font + Arial Based ,

Thank you for your Help.

I tried to find an option which increase the size of the font (the Large Font setting you mentioned) but I can't see one in Confluence.

Perhaps someone else may be able to help you if they are aware of the option that you mention.

One certain way of doing it is to edit the font.xml file. Each font that the skin uses looks like this:

<font>
<name>font30_title</name>
<filename>arial.ttf</filename>
<size>28</size>
<style>bold</style>
</font>

You can change the size by altering the <size></size> tag.

For Confluence, in Windows, the file is in the Confluence skin folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\addons\skin.confluence\720p would be the usual place. If you do decide to do this make a copy of the font'xml file first which you can copy back in if you need to.
