Hi all,
And Happy New Year!
Am new to the XBMC scene as was previously using a Popcorn Hour which died on me over the Christmas period (typically)
I have been playing around with the Raspberry Pi running Openelec but unfortunately it cannot pass through HD audio over HDMI – In addition I felt there was some stutter of HD video playback.
Am looking to get a new device to run XBMC as smoothly as I can.
My requisites would be:
• Openelec as a main preference, but not an absolute must
• Handle HD 1080p mkv Video files, including Bluray playback or Lossless Video (Remux)
• Handle HD audio (DTS-HDMA and True-HD)
• Small form factor as opposed to a tower
Budget would be in the £200-£300 ($300 - $500 USD) range if possible.
Am looking for some suggestions of people who have actually got this setup working flawlessly
Thanks very much in advance.
