Was just wondering if SMB 3.0 [SMB3] support was on the roadmap via the Samba 4.1.x client implementation?
I noticed Gotham is incorporating the Samba 3.6 client ("Upgraded SAMBA client to version 3.6.x adding full support for SMB 2.0 and SMB 2.1 protocols"). SMB 3.0 brings some nice new features around SMB Multichannel, encryption, etc. which could benefit anyone using Samba 4.x/Windows 8/Windows Server 2012 as their back-end media storage.
