themoviedb.org api down?
#1
Hi,

Yesterday I did a fresh reinstall of rasbmc on my Raspberry Pi. Since then I can't update my video librabry with the themoviedb.org scraper. When I try to update and the system finds the first movie I get an error message (translated from Dutch):

"The information cannot be downloaded

No connection possible with remote server.
Do you want to continue with scanning?"

When I update my TV Shows with theTVBD.com scraper I don't get any errors.

Did I do something wrong or is this a known problem at the moment?

If you have problems, you should send a log.

It could be related to the next thread, but I don't think so.

I think meta handlers are only about addons.

Sorry, I'm pretty new to this world Smile

My log:

On more thing: The reason why I did the reinstall is because I have installed leds to get 'ambilight'. Because of that I have installed Hyperion according to this installation guide: https://github.com/tvdzwan/hyperion/wiki/installation

not unrelated indeed Smile

Most likely just a glitch or bad connection or some filename that causes it

Sorry for posting the log Smile

It is not a bad connection, other scrapers and addons who require an internet connection are working fine. It is also not a bad filename, I have about 30 movies and there all giving that error while the exact same movies worked before without any problems.

I have noticed the same but with tvdb

With yesterdays compile no information found -- Note was working fine the day before dont know what build anymore.
XBMC (13.0-ALPHA12 Git:20140106-ba9411e). Platform: x86 Linux 64-bit
XBMC x64 build, compiled Jan 6 2014 by GCC 4.6.3 for x86 Linux 64-bit 3.2.52

New TV episodes are not scanned, also not naming issue and content is set on the source as its been forever. Also when bringing information on these files it says no information found dialog pop up.
Movies work fine, platform is not a PI though if that even matters.

Ill try to see if after I compile today if issue is gone and if not grab logs. and open own thread as this is tmdb, not tvdb. Only making mention because its very similar in nature.
