Is there a way to show the ip location of my htpc as a "widget" in the skin, similar to how tv shows has recommended shows etc.? My use case is an htpc in my living room that I control by remote control and do not want to have to close xbmc find a mouse to connect and check my vpn's connection prior to viewing regionally locked content. Would also be great to be able to run a script to connect the vpn client (privatVPN) when a connection has been lost directly from XBMC. This is more abstract but would be amazing! Thanks.
