OS X Sound Help Mac & Windows
#1
Hello, I am hoping someone can help I am using a Macbook Pro laptop (although I am on the bootcamp side using windows), and when I try to run xbmc on the tv thru the mini dvi port to hdmi. The sound settings when connected to the tv show and work sound thru the tv, (login sounds and that play thru the tv speakers). However when I start up xbmc and try to watch a video, the sound won't play thru the tv just the laptop. I have switched the settings to hdmi for sound but that makes things worse by stopping the sound on the laptop with no sound thru the tv.

Can anyone offer help? Do you need more info?

Thanks for your time and patience

set it to:
HDMI
speaker layout: 2.0
disable all passthrough options (e.x. ac3, dts, lpcm).

Post the version of XBMC you are using ...
