I'm running the latest OpenELEC nightly (13.0-ALPHA11 Git:a9e8763) but I don't seem to be able to turn debug logging on any more, which is stopping me working out why Weather Underground isn't saving IDs properly for me after selecting a location, leaving me with a blank forecast.
Under Settings > System > Debugging, there is no enabled option to enable debug logging — it is greyed out.
Adding <loglevel>1</loglevel> to advancedsettings.xml (inside the <advancedsettings> tags, before anyone asks :) and rebooting doesn't work, either — the log file says
and I get no debug info.
It appears the GUI setting — which I can't alter — is overriding the advancedsettings.xml, which doesn't seem right. What could be going on here?
I haven't tried editing the keymap to add a toggledebug key yet, but I'd prefer not to muck around with the keymap if I can get other methods working as that's one less thing to screw up!
[Yes, nightlies, I know — but the stable version is not the best option for the Haswell NUC…]
