OS X hdmi sound on macmini(xbmc 12.3 and os x maverick)
#1
hi, i am using xbmc 12.3 on macmini running maverick,
the macmini is connected to a TV through HDMI. as i power off the TV, macmini would change the default sound output device to its internal speaker. If this happen, and i set the default sound device to HDMI in XBMC, the XBMC would become very very slow...
I have to change the OSX sound setting every time after I power cycle the TV.
so is there any way to make macmini disable its internal speaker, and use HDMI automatically after the TV is power on?
or if xbmc can do something to make macmini so?
thanks!

Can you try latest nightly build - i didn't understand your problem in the whole - but i might have fixed something in that direction.

Is it a problem for you that the internal speakers are used when the TV is off? Or is it just a problem that it doesn't switch back once you power on your TV again?
