Clients Not Working
#1
Just discovered this PVR addon and its great (on local machine...)

For any of my clients in local network (2 windows clients running 12.3 and raspbmc also 12.3) streams do not load - though I can browse the epg etc.

The clients logs report:

win32 error code 1326

The server log is here:

http://pastebin.com/fvDYgDcU

Does anyone have any ideas?

It works perfectly with xbmc runnign on same machine as server

Thanks

You can see the guide data and such because that uses a socket connection to the server. Playback requires your remote clients to have access to your server machine's 'recorded tv' folder (the one used by wmc). You can see how to do this on the wiki. For your non-windows client you will also need to set the login and password (folders tab). Also on the wiki.

If that still doesn't work, then let us know.

Ah ok, I thought that wouldn;t be required as I gave full access to the shared folder on my server - it seems with win 8 you still need to login.

I've created a mapped drive to the server which shoudl log me in automatically on boot (always used nfs with xbmc, so not had this problem before)

Thanks for your help

In advanced network settings in windows 8 you can disable password protected sharing if you want to access the share without credentials. But please satisfy yourself as to the security ramifications etc
