I have the official iOS remote and I can't get it to work. I have my PC set with a static ip and it's setup at port 8080 username/password xbmc xbmc and the app just doesn't find it. I have another app, Constellation and it reworks perfectly. I prefer to use the official one so what am I doing wrong?
Server: Synology Diskstation 1511+ with 8x WD Red NAS 3TB drives, DSM 5.2

Did you try to manually enter the xbmc configuration into the app?
