TV Shows/Movies Menus Empty
#1
Mac Mini 10.9.1 with XBMC 12.3

The Movies and TV Shows menus from the home screen are blank (no shows/movies show up), but if I go to Videos and select Files, I can see my Movies and TV Shows sources and individual files. There's nothing untoward in the logs, and Im not certain how to diagnose what's going on.

I was recently on nightlies, and went to 12.3 as soon as it was announced as released.

What other information can I provide and/or has anyone seen anything like this before?

Thanks.

The database in nightlies (pre-v13) doesn't go backwards to v12.3. Meaning all changes, scans, etc, done in a nightly build only effect the current nightly builds and newer builds. Since v12 is an older "family" of releases (even though 12.3 is new) it can't read the newer DB files.

You could rebuild the library in v12 using the import/export (wiki) feature.

That was it; thanks. Issues are much easier to fix when the real problem is that I was an idiot. Smile
