Hello,

I have a number of channels (always the same ones) which cannot be played in XBMC.

They play fine in WMC and the temp .wtv files created by XBMC play in windows media player., however the .ts files do not.

Here is a log, see right at the end where I attempt to play one of these channels. Starts at:

Do the temp wtv files play in xbmc?

Yes, in fact both the .wtv and .ts file will play in xbmc when opened via the videos section. So there is video content in both files, approx. 12 seconds in each.

Try this, go do this directory:
%programdata%\VDsoftware\ServerWMC

in the 'config.xml' file that is there, change this field:
<Timeout_WaitForTS_MS>10000</Timeout_WaitForTS_MS>

change it to something larger like 20000, save the file, and restart swmc. Then see if these problem channels play.

Tried the above. It did play initially, then tried to play another couple of channels and they did not play, same error. Then I played the original channel again and it not longer played.

Good news (sort of) this is actually crashing which means I hopefully will be able to sort it out. Find this file:
E:\Recorded TV\TempXBMC\LiveTV_htpc-PC_DVB-T_1_2014_01_13_22_03_36.wtv

and upload it to my g-drive.

Thanks for the file. These channels not playing are also related to the impaired audio stream, it was easy to fix this and it will be out in the next release of swmc coming out soon (I hope).
