I have no problem streaming music from iTunes to xbmc, which works flawlessly outputting music from my laptop to home audio system.
However when I use the services like Spotify, Deezer, etc, the xbmc device is detected, it is possible to select it as a music output device however playing fails;(
There is a slight indication that 'something' is connected, but that's it, no music is actually played.
Now, the above tells me that this is because Spotify, Deezer and alike are closed platforms and therefore due to author rights the streaming to xbmc is not possible. Is this correct? If so, it is fine and I will stop trying
If not, can anyone tell me HOW to make it wok.
I'm not after plugins like Spotimc, etc, I ONLY want to stream spotify directly to xbmc so I can listen to the music on my home stereo.
