Linux power off by remote and default TV group
#1
Hi all,

i am looking for this already quiet a wile but till now i did not found an answer.

i am using XBMCUbuntu with XBMC 12.3 on an PC Hardware.

I would like to achiev two things:

1. I would like to power off the XBMC by using my IR remote (Flirc). Currently i user a recorded button for the letter "s" to open the shutdown menu and than i "hope" that the standby is still selected from last time. And that is exactly the problem, hope is not working all the time and somethimes one of the other points is selected, so my remote script is not working correctly.
My idea is no to remove all not used entries from the this shutdown popup. Where can i find it? And is there maybe another better way to do what i want.

2. My XBMC is starting automaticaly with the TV channel list, because i set the settings like this. The problem i have is, i dont want to have "ALL Channels" shown, i would like to have XBMC show my "Favorit" channel group by default.
It looks like i can not set something like this in the GUI, is there somewhere a config file where i can add that?

Thanks for your help.
