XBMC quits unexpectedly
#1
Hi all,

I am running XBMC 12.3 on Mac OSX 10.9.1 and when I start XBMC, it quits unexpectedly before a window really opens. The window appears but doesn't populate, then closes and give me the error. This just started to happen out of no where it seems. There hasn't been any updates on OS or XBMC to my knowledge. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still get the same situation.

Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks

post the crashreport from osx. (use pastebin.com and put the link in here).

Can you also post a debug log (wiki) please? Looks like there are all kinds of addons accessing something. If in doubt move the /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Application Support/XBMC folder away and try if it starts then. Can't tell much more - maybe the debug log gives some more insight - maybe not.

yes, I read that, but I am unable to find it on my computer in those locations. I failed to make sure debugging was on in XBMC when it would open, but now it won't open for me to turn it on.

Do you have any other ideas?

ok, when i open xbmc and quickly go into full screen mode it opens and seems to be fine, but i can't minimize the window without it closing down. I enabled the debug log and will get that to you.

a couple of questions.

In the top left corner of my xbmc screen is a Log status or something like that, how do i turn that off so it's not on while watching a movie or something?

The other thing is, it says the log should be in my log folder in my library but when i navigate there the file doesnt exist. Any ideas.

the top left corner is because you have debugging enabled (in system->system->debugging)
