It would be nice if subtitles were refreshed while video is paused and subtitle delay is changed. It would be much easier to pause a movie when I hear a certain line then adjust the delay to get that line in subtitles. As it is now, subtitles do not change while video is paused.

Great idea! Now all you need is a dev that actually would benefit from this obviousness. Assuming that you get the synch right and the crap subs are not to blame and never matters how synced one line timing is you can never actually fix what is really broken.
