Plex moving to closed source - problem?

Hi all

I would like to put all my eggs in a PMC -> PlexBMC/Amber setup. I worry however about Plex moving towards closed source. Do you think it will become more difficult to support having XBMC as client to PMC in the future?

What do you mean by moving to closed source? Plex server (PMS) is closed since the day one.

However, API is very open and this is where PleXBMC get's its data. Try:

type_PMS_ip_adress_here:32400/library/sections/

Also note that original PleXBMC author (Hippojay) is busy, maintenance is done by me ATM and don't speak python fluently (yet). However, my htpc is running Amber with PleXBMC so I'm motivated to keep it rocking.
My skins:

Amber
Quartz
