Ace and Aeon Nox Skins Crash XBMC
#1
I re-jailbroke my ATV2 with 5.3 UNTETHER. Everything seems to be working fine except my xbmc skins (other than confluence), I have tried everything imaginable to get other skins to work on my ATV 2 XBMC. But everytime I switch to a skin other than confluence, it crashes and restarts. these are the things I have done already in the past: I created the custom .xml file that limits the size of all fanart, especially the 1920x1020 backdrops for my all my media files, the thumbnail sizes, I followed the tutorial where I could clear my thumbnail cache, and I even have tried re-installing xbmc to get it to work, to no avail. I am running FRODO 12.3, the skins I have tried using are Ace and Aeon Nox. I really need help, cause Im stuck. when I switch back to confluence, it works fine, but Confluence is boring as hell!!! I have been an experienced jailbreaker for years, so thats whats so frustrating, because this little problem is something I feel I should have tackled by now. If anyone can help I would gladly appreciate it. I posted this problem before and didn’t get any responses hardly. I do have the log file, but I need someone to tell me exactly how to post the log file on here so that I can get the proper help that I need. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Huh?

Just paste the debug log to http://xbmclogs.com or http://pastebin.com and then post a link here.
Complete Debug log (wiki) instructions.

Looks like you didn't enable debug logging before you restarted the atv.
Also, I am not a wiz at this. Just trying to help you with the log.

I don't see any errors or crashes in that log, but like I posted before I'm not really an expert on this.

You will have to initiate a crash with debugging on. Also, you realize that aeon nox is not really recommended for the atv right. It's a very CPU heavy skin and may not ever work reliably on your atv. Metropolis or Quartz might be a better choice if you don't like Confluence. Just my 2¢.
