Hi, I have a question about XBMC Gotham.
Will XBMC Gotham get hardware acceleration with VDPAU through the new open source drivers in linux 3.12 with mesa 10 or will I still need the catalyst drivers and XVBA?

I'm sorry, I think I misunderstoud the other thread. I thought is was just an alternative do-it-yourself way. thx, excuse me for the stupid question. I'm not very experienced in linux yet.

No problem, the thread is fairly technical but the main thing is in line 1: you need Xbmc 13.0-alpha10 or higher (codename 'Gotham') to have support for this.
