Missing 'Intel® High Definition Audio HDMI Driver'
#1
Have recently installed XBMC On Intel NUC DC3217IYE running Windows 8.1

In Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers>

I only have Intel® Display Audio (version 6.16.0.3129)

but no:

'Intel® High Definition Audio HDMI Driver'

Can someone let me know where I can download this or any other HD Audio HDMI driver that would be compatible.

Thanks in advance

The Display Audio driver contains the HDMI driver - that's the one I'm using in conjunction with wasapi for my Haswell build

Gotcha - I had a feeling this may be the case

As a matter of interest, In Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers>

do you have Intel® Display Audio or Intel® High Definition Audio HDMI Driver listed?

I do not have access to my HTPC at the moment but I think it's labelled Display Audio. It does the job which is the main thing.

My only niggle is that if I boot my HTPC without an active HDMI conection the driver goes missing often requiring reinstallation - something I must look into sometime
