There is no new buildy yet
I will kick of a new build myself

Edit: Subtitles works again on Rpi with http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1590227

Got one more question regarding this. Does this fix apply to all PVR addons or just TVheadend?

@sonic: only tvheadend, it is the only addon that internally converts teletext subtitle pages to raw text subs. That's why they use XBMCs font settings instead of the bone-ugly teletext font. I'm not sure how other backends do it or how XBMC handles that.

@negge: Thanks for your answer Smile. Why I asked is that one of my PVR sources runs mediaportal TV-server.

@negge same thing on osx build from yesterday.
When zapping channels (without stop) sometimes some channels fail to show subtitles.

Maybe the flags or language of the subtitles change. I have no live tv setup yet, so I can't test that. But then stopping playback between shouldn't help. Can you please test that?

From my short test, live tv subtitle never fails if i start a channel from stop, only when zapping it fails (and not all the time) Don´t know if a log would help ?

Logs always help.

1, zapping some channels
2, zap on Discovery world- no subtitle
3, stop live tv playback and direct play Discovery world- subtitle works fine

@negge did you find anything in the log ?

No, not really. I'm no expert. I have noticed too that sometimes when I switch to a channel the subtitles are supposed to be enabled (they are but they don't show), after I switch between them they start displaying. Don't know if it's the same issue or if it's related somehow.

moving this topic and edited the title a bit

@negge was this true ? Or should this topic get moved back to pvr development / pvr help and support ?

Would really like this issue fixed before Gotham final , updated ticket here http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/14520#comment:6

That's likely a problem with the player, not the tvheadend addon.

Guys i split this from http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=169386 and closed that because we are now talking about a different issue.

Scratch that, forum goes berserk if I try. I put everything back together.

Jönke, would you mind editing your first post and the topic to signify what issues have been fixed and which still exist ?
