looks like a nice box. Appears only the celeron and i3 model will be available in the US according to the article. Also, I'm a little leary of the google OS. Hopefully the hard drive can be replaced and windows is an option.

Why the hell would I want a dongle hanging off the front of it? That won't even switch it on from powered off! Why don't you click the links in my sig below and see where i stuck that dongle mate! Then you might realise how stupid Asus are for not putting one in!

Who cares about IR? After using FLIRC I wouldn't dream of using anything else again. Besides, the HTPC will most likely be on 24/7 considering the low power consumption - plus my sitting room isn't so big that it will take me very long to go and turn the HTPC off/on.

FLIRC. Another ugly ass dongle hanging off the front of it.
You can leave yours on mate. I like to switch mine off. All my AV kit is hidden away in another part of the house. I use universal remotes and IR blasters. See, we're all different!

Hell Yeah! intel haswell i3 nad 2 gig ram, I had a c2d with 1 gig ram that easily played 1080p
I'm mostly thinking about the Celeron version. If it will play back smoothly in software (hi10p h.264 1080p30), then I'd rather go with that.
