That's weird since Dilligaf says he sees delete in the context menu. He is using Gotham though, but I really doubt frodo would be different.

Some progress:
I installed XBMC on Windows 7. When I right click on a recorded program, I get a real menu that includes

Recording Info
Find Similar Programs
Start From Beginning
...
Delete
...

This is NOT what I see when running on RPI and I hit the "More" (Info) button on my remote.
When I hit that button, I get the contents of "Recording Info"

So perhaps I have a remote mapping issue or I am using the wrong button? What button should be the context menu?

With a RC6 MCE remote and Raspbmc the Guide key brings up ContextMenu, it contains

Yep, that works and it really does delete the file.

I re-enabled the remux option in ServerWMC and I am still able to delete. I didn't restart ServerWMC or the RaspBMC, so we'll see how we do on that one after a reboot.
