I would like to use my IR remote in order to control XBMC (running under arch linux). I have used this guide http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=170372
The "irw" console command reports button presses correctly. However, in the xbmc menus, the remote does not work at all. I have tried using another remote but still the same problem.
