I am getting the following script error on ESPN 3 only on my laptop:
Script Failed! : ESPN 3

ESPN works fine on the laptop and both ESPN and ESPN 3 work on the iPad with no issues.

Debug Log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=234436

It was working before but just stopped working out of nowhere. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I tried to install from the xbmc repository and i'm still getting the "Script Failed! : ESPN3" error.
I'm running Raspbmc, but am not connected to the same provider that provides espn3.
I've tried editing the userdata to include the SWID for my watchespn cookie, but to no avail.
Any help?

just saw this.
wondering if you are still having problems.

i did notice for myself. sometimes if i tried to watch a show too soon before it started it will give an error.
i never looked to see what the error was (if it's the same as you are seeing).
but eventually it would start.

i don't understand what you mean by "same provider that provides espn3".
who is your provider?

I had the issue with the "Script Failed! : ESPN3" error on my laptop. It was working fine on my Android TV stick. Same XBMC version (Frodo / XBMChub Wizard), same provider (Comcast).
I figured I'd look at the log and see what the problem is and I found " ERROR: Win32DllLoader::Load: Failed to load C:\Program Files\XBMC\system\players\dvdplayer\librtmp.dll ...".
The solution for me was to update the XBMC Dvdplayer:
Instructions:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...nside_XBMC

or in short:
Go here and select the folder with the newest date (in my case 5-14-14):
http://www.mediafire.com/?x4cvp5hl4m9xr
Then select the folder for your OS (windows in my case).
Download the precompiled librtmp.dll and put it in the folder of the XMBC dvdplayer:
Windows:
C:\program files\XBMC\system\players\dvdplayer
and replace the old librtmp.dll (I just renamed it to keep it just in case).

Then restart XBMC.

Worked for me. Hope it helps!

I'm getting "Playback Failed" errors on a fresh XBMC install. Ubuntu 14.04, XBMC Gotham 13.1.

ESPN3 streams work fine from my desktop and laptop.

Looks like it might be an rtmp issue? Or something with dvdplayer? The odd thing is that I was able to play streams a couple days ago after I rebuilt the system.

I am getting script failed error. It works fine on my laptop. Is there a place where I can input my login credentials...that might help. I am using xbmc on google tv as an app so don't know to correct the dvd file mentioned above.

hoping that it's just a glitch and will clear itself up by tomorrow....
i'll try again, and see what's what.

I am getting same error only on live. Started today; was working last night. so perhaps this is intermittent with the url giving the listings ?

Only issue I have with this is why can't we get a little better quality? It keeps saying 540p or SD for the quality on the feeds but I have 150mbps down... I know I can handle ESPN3's feeds just fine. Is there a way to get a better quality feed? I know it looks like 1080p when using my laptop. Just curious. Great app otherwise!

I think 540p is the highest quality.
it will fluctuate automatically... but, to my knowledge, there are no 720p (or 1080p) feeds ATM.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

I am getting "Script Failed" from the "Replay All" selection on the first screen of the addon. I really miss "Replay All", since it is the only way to find today's events that have already completed.
