Spotify connect

Hi guys!

Is it possible to add the possibility of Spotify Connect to XBMC, in the same way that airplay is possible now?

It would be a great feature for all spotify fans right now Smile

Spotify Connect would be *extremely* nice on Kodi.

Too bad Spotify hasn't published the API.

I hope everyone heads over to Spotify's page, linked above in nooryani84's post, and posts or "give kudos" to the idea, to get Spotify's attention.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about coding to know whether or not this would help. I would imagine someone's stumbled across this but if not, are there any programmer's out there that could make Spotify Connect work on Kodi using this info?

Figured XBMC would be one of the projects that would benefit from such an addition, in the form of an addon or the like, but the main reason I'm here is that we're looking for anyone who knows a bit about reverse engineering or anything else that might help the project out, and if you have some spare time and want to contribute, for the benefit of of open source media boxes everywhere Wink

Anyways, thanks for reading.

Sorry for awakening a zombie thread, but I thought it would be better than creating an entirely new one.

Could the Kodi Foundation apply for a non-commercial license/binary-addon for Spotify? It says "Hardware", but I'm sure this could also be appropriated for something like Kodi as well? *wishful thinking*
