Stream xbmc instance from PC to Pi?
#1
Hello!

Sorry if the topic is confusing, i didnt know how to explain it better.

Anyhow, i was thinking, instead of using my Pi to run it's own XBMC instance, with shared libraries etc, can it be possible to basically just stream the picture from my stationary PC, to the pi instead? This would take the power off the PI, and since i use my android phone to control my PC via Wi-Fi i wouldnt need anything but audio/video to come from my PC?

If you're familiar with Steams new "in-home streaming" feature for games, that's basically what im looking for.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Edit: If you're wondering why i dont just use the Pi to run XBMC, It's because it's been a mayor pain in the ass everytime im going to use it, failed updates etc.
