Bug Gotham: UI hangs when moving volume amplification cursor

you _must_ install taglib in a default system location, prefix=/usr or /usr/local, because of a bug in how we include the headers.

Ok, thanks.
There is no other way? I would keep system taglibs if possible.

Or can I move taglib from /usr/include? Is the same thing?

Another question:
can I paste here the `ldd /*/lib/xbmc/xbmc.bin` output?
I did some changes on my configure.

P.s.
I forgot to apologize for my 'Googled' English

easiest way is: install taglib to /usr/local, compile xbmc. After that you can remove taglib again, as we link it statically.

Ok,
I did more testing, on archlinux too.

This is the last configure on slackware 13.1(my primary distro):
http://pastebin.com/EYCQTea7
(I uninstalled system taglibs before building).

This one is for Arch Linux (after `pacman -Syu):

However "the song remains the same":
gui hangs or stutters.
Only avi streams work as expected.

Me to.
Openelec 4 beta 6 (Gotham beta 4) playing mpeg2 TS streams, any adjustment of volume amplification causes the GUI to hang.

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I can't reproduce either. Could you try mainline or my master branch which is closer to OE?

I browsed your github repos and there is no Openelec. Do you want me to rebuild Openelec with main XBMC?
It just so happens I am running the Openelec build script now investigating some other issue.
Apologies for this being the wrong place to ask but do you know how to get the Openelec build script to pick up the main XBMC source?
Also I guess I just delete the patches folder for the XBMC package?
Thanks

Sorry, I have absolutely no knowledge in building OE. The XBMC code of OE is close to my master branch so I suspect some non XBMC code causing this issue. Or have you tried to disable all addons?

A clean install of OE and the problem has gone away
