Solved Constant crashing of XBMC (debug included)
#1
I have all my movies and TV shows stored on my Synology DS213j which is connected by ethernet cable to my router. anyway my problem is when ever watching a movie or TV show it runs smooth then randomly stops says 0% buffer then crashes. I've checked the NAS and there is no odd behaviour that i seen on that end so i have no clue what is going on. no matter what im watching or what file format it is it crashes randomly. sometime i can watch 3 episodes other times i cant even get through 1 before it crashes.

one is xbmc.old.log and the other is xbmc.log because i didn't know which one would show the crash.
Logs:

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=139266

Both links show up as 502 Bad Gateway so i'll paste it here as well.

If I had to guess I would say it's our buggy internal AFP client. Since even Apple is depreciating usage of AFP there hasn't been anyone who wants to work on the AFP client stuff in XBMC. My advice is to either use a different protocol, or to mount the AFP shares in OSX and the add them in XBMC as local drives.
