My Apple TV 2 5.3 with XBMC 12.3 Frodo seems to be getting sluggish. There is noticable lag moving around the menu items even when there is no content being played.
I'm not certain but I feel like it got worse after I installed additional skins. I have since removed the skins and set it back to the default Confluence skin but it's still sluggish.
Is there any way to fix this?

Some skin might have installed and enabled service addons which are still running in the background. Try to disable some of those service addons (you will find them in system->addons->enabled addons->services).
