If you have any VC1 format blurays, then DXVA2 is a no-go with Intel graphics (highly pixellated, flashing image)
I use 'software' as render method with DXVA2 disabled

ok.
I tried quickly this morning to play a 720p webdl shows with my new intel hd46000 build...
and the resutl was awfull!
Lags, audio desync, washed out colors, ...
I used DXVA2, video sync and deinterlace.
I'll try to play with the intel drivers this week-end, to understand why!

With Gotham Beta 1 and the latest Intel Driver, VC1 works now on my i3 Haswell Nuc without any problems!

After finding 1080p/24 playback slightly jerky with DXVA2 enabled, I've gone back to my previous settings

Does your audio work over hdmi? I had to revert to a older driver to get it to work for me, but now xmbc crashes ("has stopped working" error) when trying to open.
Edit: was able to update display driver without audio driver and all is good

ok.
Just upgraded my Intel Display drivers yesterday, now everything is ok.
Still have the 24p audio delay (400ms on gotham b3, 250ms on frodo)
