I just installed Gotham Beta 1, and upgraded ServerWMC and its add on to the latest versions

ServerWMC: 1129
pvr-wmc (Windows): 0.2.93
Computer: Win7

However when I start XBMC, I do not have any data in the EPG, Channels, or Timer Menu. I do see my recordings though.

I tried to reset the PVR database, but the problem remains. Looking at the ServerWMC status tab, i see the following:

Totals of items transferred to clients:
Channels: 0
EPG Entries:
Timers: 236
Recordings: 422

Can someone comment on how to fix this?

According to the log post (btw best to post the log on pastebin.com and give a link to it here). All the channels are drm'd (copy once) so they won't play in xbmc. You can force them to transfer anyway if you go to the channel tab and un-check 'Hide drm channels'

Hmm... why wasn't this a problem in Frodo? This was working yesterday before I upgraded to Gotham.

In fact, I upgraded to Gotham, and it was working. I then upgraded to the latest ServerWMC and pvr-addon from googledrive, and it stopped working.

Really I don't know but that's an important data point. Its impossible for gotham to cause this, rather its the new version of swmc. Please try the setting I posted so that the channels come through and see if they play. Let me know either way.

What version of ServerWMC were you running prior to the upgrade? If possible, could you put the Hide Drm Channels setting back to how it was, and DOWNGRADE back to the earlier ServerWMC release you used to be running, and let us know if the channels are seen as DRM or not? Can you also post a full ServerWMC.log file to pastebin for both the old ServerWMC version and the latest? As krusty says this is the first time we have seen channels go from open to drm when a ServerWMC version was updated so it would be good to dig into it a bit more if you have the time to test. It's possible your proider suddenly flagged all the channels as protected so it would be good to confirm whether going back to the old version does or doesnt see the channels as DRM now

Sorry for the late reply.

So I added back "Hide DRM Channels", and downgraded to the previous build, and the channels were added properly. Here's the log:

I then upgraded back to the latest build, and tried again with hide DRM channels turned on, and everything was transferred properly!

So i guess it was some transient error where WMC was somehow sending everything as protected.
