Hi,

I have a buddy with a very old ATV iOS (I don't know the exact one) which is running Eden. He is a heavy plugin user. You can just imagine how well that is going for him. So he is asking me about updating his XBMC.

Will XBMC 12.3 update (via apt-get method) and function on any ATV iOS version? Or does the ATV need to be updated to 5.3 and re-jailbroken?

4.3 is the min recommendation, IIRC. It should work on anything newer as well.
