Issue
If I access Video -> Files -> My Movies. In all of the views I don't see any poster art (screenshot). If I right click -> Movie information I see the poster displayed (screenshot). If I select Choose Art -> Poster -> Current Art, it shows the same poster (screenshot). If I select Current art and then close the Movie Information I still don't see any Poster.

I have even tried to remove the source and re-added it back in and still nothing.

What am I missing?

Firstly, all of the screenshots you point to in your post are identical.

Secondly, can you confirm that your folder structure is something like:

C:\Videos\Aaron\Enders Game\Enders Game.avi

Thirdly, what do you see when you go to Movies->Title from the XBMC Home page?

Probably because you scanned with "Movies in separate folders named like the movie" disabled.

You'll have the poster there when you navigate into the folder.

Sorry about the same link on the screen shots. I have updated the links.

If I access Movie -> Title I see all of the poster and fan art. (screenshot)

Here is my stucture:
\\mediaserver\drivepool\New Movies\Aaron
\\mediaserver\drivepool\New Movies\Jen

Here is my source settings (screenshot). When I put movies into the directory I do something like this:
\\mediaserver\drivepool\New Movies\Aaron\Open Grave
\\mediaserver\drivepool\New Movies\Aaron\Open Grave\Open Grave (2013).avi

Thank you both for your assistance! I am just stuck and can't figure out the issue.

So clearly your "movies are in separate folders that match the movie title".

Make sure that's toggled on!

I'm not sure how we can make it more obvious than this?

Yep. That was the issue. Sorry I didn't catch that.

I am assuming the only purpose of this option is to display the poster/fanart at a folder level instead of a file level. Really, from a library perspective, this option is negated. How about, when browsing, in file mode, at a folder level, you just display the poster/fanart of the files inside that folder? This option could be removed and would just be assumed. If there are multiple files in the folder, the first one, alphabetically is selected, and like usual, the user could modify this selection if they wanted.

Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your assistance jmarshall.

No, that's not the only purpose. If it was, there wouldn't be an option.
