Hi, I wanted to report a bug/feature request for PVR in general.

I'm using the nightly Gotham as of Feb. 19, 2014 and normall, I put my MediaPC to sleep when not in use so XBMC stays opened between uses. Currently, to update the list of recordings, I have to exit XBMC and launch it again in order for the PVR plugin to restart.

It would be good to have an "update library" option like in videos and have the list of recordings updated during the "update library on startup" option so that the recordings are updated after the computer wakes up from sleep.

Addon authors should implement this in the addons. It is good practice to trigger an update on recordings, timers, and channels on every reconnect to the backend. In addition the backend can request an update if something changes while connected. I have implemented it this way for vnsi.
